Tahini Sauce

This Tahini Sauce is the perfect counterpart to any spicy recipe! It adds a rich, nutty flavour that cools a hot dish like Ssamjang Roasted Cauliflower. I made this while I was waiting for my meal to cook, and it was so worth it! This dressing comes together in seconds and will elevate your dish- it looks great and adds so much to your meal for very little effort. Do yourself a favour and add this Tahini Sauce to your meal prep routine!

What is Tahini?

Tahini, a paste made from ground sesame seeds, serves as the star ingredient in this recipe. Known for its rich, nutty flavor and velvety texture, tahini adds a distinctive twist to any dish it graces. From Mediterranean cuisine to contemporary fusion recipes, tahini has gained popularity as a versatile ingredient that enhances the taste and texture of various dishes.

Tahini is a very useful kitchen staple and I recommend keeping it on hand for a variety of recipes. It is a main ingredient in hummus, makes a great sauce for spicy dinners or salads, and can be used in place of any nut-butter for those with nut allergies (or if you just want to mix up those flavours).

Please let me know how you use this sauce- I’m convinced it is one of the most versatile sauces and I’d love to get your recommendations!
