8-10 apples, peeled and sliced
1/2 Cup vegan butter
1 Cup rolled oats
1 Cup all-purpose flour
1 Cup brown sugar
1 Tbsp cinnamon
Juice from one lemon
1/2 Cup raisins (optional)
Preheat oven to 180C/350F.
Place chopped apples (and raisins) in a greased, oven safe dish.
Drizzle lemon juice over the apples and toss.
In a separate bowl cut the dry ingredients into the butter. Don’t overmix, it should form a loose crumble.
Spread the crumble over top of the apples and bake for 30-50 minutes (until the apples are tender).
Let cool slightly and serve warm (with ice cream!)
